My Eyebrow Transformation!
Eyebrows frame your face, especially your eyes. If you have great eyebrows all you have to add are blush, mascara, and lipstick, and boom, you are out the door!
I Get Tatoos!
This is great in theory, but if you are like most of the women I work with your eyebrows have faded, were never great to start with, or have fallen out so that you now have to draw them in. For all my adult life, I have had to color my eyebrows and then they started getting more sparse so I didn’t have much to color! Finally, I said, “I’m going to get eyebrows!” And I did. Cookie Bandel owns Studio Bella and has been featured in Austin Woman magazine. She is a permanent makeup artist. Really, I mean an ARTIST! She gave me eyebrows and my life changed forever! I have had my brows for 2 years now and they still look great. Not one person has ever asked me if they are tattooed. My hair is white blonde, and my eyebrows are a beautiful soft taupe and work perfectly for my coloring.
The Process
Cookie and I discussed what I wanted to achieve. I brought in my favorite brow pencil and used it to color my brows exactly as I wanted them and then she took lots of pictures from different angles and distances. I hate using foundation! Are you saying, just good eyebrows, mascara, blush and lip stick? Or with blush you need foundation as well?
Mary Elizabeth, you never HAVE to use foundation, totally up to you! I often use Blush, Mascara, and Lipstick (and sometimes concealer under my eyes) with Underglow, which gives evens out skin tone and gives you a beautiful glow without any weight to it. Colleen, I have thought about other procedures but I’m too chicken! Cookie is quite talented and I have seen her work on cheeks, mouth, and eyeliner. It looks great! Happy you have experienced these benefits too – I know you have a super-busy life!
